South Philadelphia - Christmas Lights

South Philadelphia is really beautiful. People are really nice and warm. It is completely different from West Philadelphia. I think most of the people have perception of Philadelphia as something ghetto but the interesting deal here is that its only some part of Philadelphia which are dark.

I was able to capture neighborhoods of West Passyunk Avenue decorated with Christmas light. Houses were looking beautiful with innovative Christmas decoration. I captured a TV screen on a house window with some Christmas video going on(in picture below).

This is the view of the Broad Street which is one of the main road which comes into South Philly from downtown Philadelphia. This road is really interesting because I have never seen people parking in the middle of the road except India :). This happens on crowded weekend nights. And parking spots are really hard to find. Beware of the fact that the inner roads are really kind of congested thin lanes.

This post doesn't really cover what the South Philadelphia really is. But it is a good start till the next post.
